Welcome to your Personal Workbook. This is your opportunity to build a healthy lifestyle that includes self-acceptance and self-care. You will practice setting constructive goals (and avoid self-critical thinking). You will learn to:

  • Find pleasure in healthy choices.
  • Eat nutritious foods when hungry.
  • Enjoy your food more.
  • Stop eating when satisfied.
  • Feel better about your body.
  • Meet your emotional needs without always using food.
  • Find comfortable fun movement you CAN add to your life
    (even if you have health problems or mobility issues).

It is important to begin with the Workbook Basics. In these few lessons you will get some essential skills to look at your life, your fitness, and your eating in a new way. These Basics will ALWAYS be available to you. You may find that you like to revisit the Basics every once in a while. After you have enjoyed all the Basics at least once, you are ready to move on to the Weekly Lessons.

You can choose ANY lesson that feels right for you. Look 'em over. Trust yourself. Choose the lesson that you think would be best for you. There is no 'correct' order for these Weekly Lessons. This is one more time when you will practice listening to the real expert on what you need ... and that is YOU.

This is your doorway to your individual process of healthy living. You may find it useful if you explore one lesson per week. Of course, you can go faster or slower if you choose. This is your process ... Enjoy it!
