Why So Many Workouts?
There are different workouts because people have different needs. Some people
need to workout sitting and some standing. A mat workout would be
fine for some, while others cannot get up and down from the floor ...
they need a bed workout! I wanted to make workouts available for
every body. If you exercise all the time, you will find a workout here
that gives you information on HOW to stay safe as you exercise. If you
have not exercised in 30 years, here you will find a great place to start.
My goal is to help each person
feel successful right from the beginning. These
workouts FEEL good both physically and emotionally. Whatever your age,
size, ability, or disability, you have the right to get your basic needs
met. MOVEMENT is a basic need of every human body. [Click

You will find lots of motivation,
lots of safety information, and most importantly, you will enjoy yourself
and your body as you get moving.
- Do you need to start
in a chair? Fine. There are three different chair workouts.
- Do you want a great
standing aerobic workout? Good. There are three levels to choose from
so that you are always comfortable.
- Are you confined
to a bed or if coping with chronic pain (like fibromyalgia or arthritis)? There are at least five workouts for you!
- Are you a very large
person. Here you will find FIVE different workouts that you CAN DO!
The best combination for complete fitness program will include: aerobic workout, muscle toning workout, stretch. These three components give
you a complete fitness package AND you get a discount when ordering three
videos with the STANDING workouts or the SITTING workouts.
Each video is about a half hour
long. Over the years, I have found that with shorter workouts, you
can fit them into your day more easily. You can combine your aerobics
and your stretch, and you still have a nice length workout. Play with
it. See how these workouts might meet your need to get moving.

The
FORM workout
This is a lower intensity workout with lots of information about
correct form and posture. It is the perfect place to start if you
have not been active lately. However, it is a great workout for
anyone who wants to focus on HOW to do the exercises correctly.
I recommend this workout, whether you are a beginner or experienced.
Everybody needs to pay extra attention to the WAY they move. If
you are just getting started, you will really enjoy this workout.
If you are an experienced exerciser, this is a great workout for
those times when you want less intensity and more awareness (like
when you are recovering from a cold or have a headache).

No-Impact
Aerobics II
This standing aerobics workout is medium intensity. You will get
your heart rate up by working the muscles of the upper and lower
body WITHOUT jumping. It is especially
good for anyone who needs to pamper their knees and protect their
back as they enjoy smooth movement. If you can walk a few blocks
comfortably, then you can do this workout. This is the best
selling standing workout.

No-Impact
Aerobics III
This faster paced workout is higher intensity, yet still has NO
jumping. You will use the weight of your body to provide resistance
as you work the large muscles of the lower body, and challenge your
upper body. Even with the faster moves, there is an emphasis on
good form and body awareness. If you can power walk (or walk fast)
for 15 minutes, then you can do this workout.

Sitting
Aerobics I --(THE most popular video)
Do you have trouble standing or walking for any reason? Then grab
a chair and get ready to boogie! You will enjoy this lower intensity
whole body workout while sitting down. Your buns, legs, abs, back,
and arms will say "Oh, yeah, this feels good!" If you
are a large or very large person, your weight is an asset as you
do these smooth comfortable moves. If you cope with chronic pain
(fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue) or if you have balance problems,
this is a great place to start. This workout is great for beginners
or anyone who needs to workout sitting down and be extra careful
with movement. (note: If you are a person who uses a wheelchair,
you can follow along and do the movements that work for you and
your body.)

Sitting
Aerobics II
Do you need to workout sitting down, but also you want a more intense
aerobic workout? Then this is the workout for you! Bigger arm movements
and more strength training in the lower body get your heart rate
up. Faster paced moves keep the aerobic pace lively even though
you are sitting down. After you have mastered Sitting Aerobics I,
this is a great way to take the next step to increase your fitness.
If you are already fit and need to workout sitting down because
of a foot or leg injury, you will have a blast maintaining your
fitness with this fun workout. (Note: If you are a person who uses
a wheelchair, you can follow along and do the movements that work
for you and your body.)

Muscle
Toning I
Do you get a pain in the neck just thinking about "crunches"?
In this workout you can work your abdominal muscles sitting up!
That way your neck stays in a neutral position without discomfort.
Does the thought of getting down on the floor to exercise make you
feel uncomfortable? Dont worry. In this reclining workout
you can use ANY flat surface you choose
like the flat surface
of your own bed! You can choose where and how to strengthen your
muscles. Nice lower intensity exercises for abs, buns, legs, back,
and arms.

Toning II
This muscle-toning workout can also be done on the comfortable surface
of your bed or on an exercise mat on the floor, whichever you choose.
You will find challenging moves with lots of safety information.
Instead of the usual "crunches" that compress the vertebrae
in your neck, we will do "look up/lift-ups" to protect
your neck. Every step of the way, you will learn how to strengthen
and protect your muscles and joints.

Back Health Workout
This workout is also great for people who cope with chronic pain.
In this workout, you will enjoy smooth moves standing, sitting,
and reclining. Your awareness of your body will increase as you
choose moves that feel good for you and your individual needs. If
you have back pain that comes from muscle tension, weakness, or
spasm, then you may especially benefit from this workout

Stretch
and Relax for Small to Large People
Enjoy gentle warm-up moves and stretches that you WILL be able to
do. These moves are appropriate for small people and for large people.
Since the instructor is a plus-size woman, these stretches make
room for the softness of your body, especially the belly area.
If you can lay on your back and "hug" your bent leg toward
your body - either with your hands or using a towel behind your
knee - then you can do this stretch video.

and Relax for Very Large People
If you are very large, your body especially needs improved circulation,
full range of motion, and flexibility in order to improve your mobility
and comfort in your body. In this work out you will enjoy stretches
and movements that you CAN do. There is room for all of you here!
You can work on a bed or a large couch where you can recline and
stretch. If your great belly gets in the way of doing any
version of a "knee hug" then you will really appreciate
this stretch video. There is room for ALL of you.
